I think that almost all DS games stored in internal memory, so you do not need an SD card at all
The ISD has a capacity for 400 + pictures in internal memory, so do not even need a card with the
(but if you're curious, a 2G card can store 3000 photos ISD)
SDHC is better because it supports and store up to 32 GB depending on what you get.
No matter what. I use an SD card, because I had a replacement for my R4 DS
